Cleveland State announces Bradley County academic honor students Cleveland State Community College is pleased to recognize the talented academic students for the 2019 summer semester. Each semester, those students achieving a 4.0-grade point average are recognized by being placed on the President’s List, Cleveland State’s highest academic honor. The Vice President for Academic Affairs will recognize outstanding academic students maintaining a 3.5 to 3.99-grade point average by placing their names on the Dean’s List. Those students achieving a 3.0 to 3.49 grade point average are recognized by being placed on the Honor Roll. To qualify for these awards, a student must have completed at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses during the term. more

Help fight opioid abuse As we explore ways to combat the drug epidemic in our community this is a critical step in addressing the rampant overuse of prescription drugs. Many times we find prescription drugs fall into the wrong hands because they are lost, stolen, or simply misused. If you find yourself with old medications, here is how you can help dispose of them properly. At the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, we have a prescription drug disposal drop box that can be utilized on Monday through Friday during regular business hours. It is located near the waiting area inside the Criminal Investigation Division entrance at the Bradley County Justice Center, 2290 Blythe Ave. S.E.. Cleveland, TN 37311. I would encourage you to use this as a safe and simple option to dispose of old medications. This will help keep prescription drugs out of the wrong hands. more
