Young People’s Chorus of New York City to perform at Lee

Lee University will conclude its 2017-18 Presidential Concert Series with the highly-acclaimed Young People’s Chorus of New York City on Friday, April 13, in Pangle Hall at 7:30 p.m.

YPC is a multicultural youth chorus internationally renowned for its superb virtuosity and brilliant showmanship. Founded in 1988, the choir is directed by Francisco J. Núñez and assisted by Elizabeth McKinney Núñez, an alumna of Lee University.

Dr. Paul Conn, who with his wife, Darlia, selects all artists for this series, said:  “Our audience is going to love these youngsters and their music. They will provide an evening of music we will be talking about for years. It’s hard for a local group to make an impact in a city like New York, where the audiences hear so much memorable music, but these kids have made a name for themselves, and after they have been on the Pangle Hall stage, everyone in Cleveland will understand why. It will be a night to remember!”
