N. Marie Cooley, 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday evening, Nov. 23, 2018, in a local health care facility. 

Joseph (Joe) Paul Hamilton, Jr. passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, in Cleveland. A lifelong Cleveland resident, he was a driving force in the creation of the Museum Center at 5ive Points and helped bring the community together to raise $4.5 million to build the facility. He served as executive director from 1994 to 2006. The museum earned 10 awards of commendation or excellence from the Tennessee Association of Museums in its first seven years of operation. more
