She was a member of Overcoming Faith Christian Center in Athens, and served on the church auxiliaries.
Her proudest virtues were that she was a proud mom, grandmother and wife.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Womac, of Athens; two sons: Mark (Betty) Womac of Athens and Patrick (Naomi) Womac of Athens; three granddaughters: Emmaline, Samantha, and Morgan of Athens; mother, Patricia Garrett of Detroit; two brothers: Anthony (Kim) Garrett of Detroit, and Frazier (Darlene) Garrett of Cincinnati; special friend, Hope Simon of Detroit; and many other relatives, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Memorial service will held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at 5 p.m. at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Harold McCowan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
