Tri-Con, Inc. will sponsor the 65 Roses 5K chip timing, a popular feature of the April 12 race at Lee University. All proceeds from the race benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Chattanooga Track Club will manage the timing process for the certified 5K race, which is an official race on the club's runner-of-the-year series. The 3.1-mile race starts at 8:30 a.m. on the 12th. All paid participants will receive technical running socks, and a cotton shirt will be at the finish line for the first 750 finishers. For more information or to register online, visit www.leeuniversity.edu/65roses or contact Bill Estes, race director, at bestes@leeuniversity.edu.
