The training session, which will begin at 7 p.m., will last approximately two hours. It is free and open to anyone who is concerned about animal welfare/animal rights issues. All rescue and animal organizations are invited to attend.
Attendees will learn how to become citizen advocates for animals across Tennessee. From concerns about animal cruelty to protecting wildlife, the training session will help advocates become effective in their efforts to create a more compassionate community and nation.
Lassiter will also be discussing the upcoming Humane Lobby Day that HSUS will hold in Nashville later in the month.
The training will be held in the community room at Fairview Baptist Church, 5545 Runway Drive N.W. The church is located between Harpo Street N.W and N.W. 56th Street.
