‘One World, Many Stories’ program begins on June 7

There will be a limited number of computer classes held during June. A complete class schedule will resume in August.

Reservations are now being accepted for the following classes: Computer Basics, June 13 and 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Email-Basic, June 1 and 2, 3 to 5 p.m.; Excel-Intermediate, June 6-9, 3 to 5 p.m.; Internet-Basic, June 15 and 16, 3 to 5 p.m.; and Word-Intermediate, June 9 and 16, 6 to 8 p.m.

All classes require a refundable $5 deposit before a reservation can be accepted for a class. No reservations are accepted on the telephone. The classes are free and open to all with a valid library card. Reservations can be made at the Non-fiction or Reference Desks on the second floor of the library during regular hours.

“One World, Many Stories,” the library’s summer reading program, continues to register children in the Children’s Department. Summer programs will begin June 7 and continue through the end of July.

Tuesdays at 2 p.m. will be crafts, Wednesdays at 2 p.m. will feature a movie, Baby Crafts will be held Thursdays at 1:30 p.m., and Fridays will feature a cooking program at 2 p.m.

Be sure to stop by the Children’s Department to register for some of the programs as there will be a limited number of spaces available.

The library will be closed on May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.
