12 local students named to McCallie honor rolls

CHATTANOOGA — Twelve students from the Cleveland area were named to the fall semester honor rolls at McCallie School.

Upper school students making the headmaster’s list include Connor Browand, Weimer Macuri-Espinoza, Justin Powers and Zain Siddiqui.

Middle school students on the headmaster’s list include Jackson Gilliland and Bruce Renner.

Upper school students from Cleveland on the honor roll include John Bryant and Ryan Tyson.

Middle school students on the honor roll list include Mitchell Crispin and Jake Wagner of Cleveland and Drew and Grant Smith of Charleston.

To qualify for the headmaster’s List, a student must earn all A’s in regular courses and no grade lower than a B-plus in honors or Advanced Placement courses.

An honor roll student makes the list for earning at least an overall B+ average with no grade lower than a B–minus.

Additionally, the following local students were selected for the Faculty Recognition List as a special acknowledgement of their academic efforts during the semester: Connor Browand, Weimer Macuri-Espinoza, Zain Siddiqui and Grant Smith.

McCallie School is a private, all-boys’ school in Chattanooga.
