COMMON THREADS — The 15th annual quilt show, sponsored by the Common Threads Quilt Club, will be held Oct. 1 and 2 at the Mount Olive Church of God gymnasium, 3533 Harrison Pike. The show, “Keeping Quilt Traditions Alive Old and New,” is sponsored by the Common Threads Quilt Club. Admission is $3. Each ticket is entered in the drawing for the quilt displayed here by Pam Mathews, president of the Common Threads Quilt club. Featured in the show also will be the quilt “All Through the Years” by Martha Stevison which placed second in Common Threads Quilt Show and received honorable mention at the Pigeon Forge event, and “Norma’s Choice” by Lisa Thacker (quilted by Betty’s Quilt Shop).
