The 2014 Distinguished Young Women of Tennessee competition came to its finale at Lee University’s Dixon Center Saturday night.

The overall winner was Courtney Miller, who had previously been named the Distinguished Young Woman of Cumberland Valley.

The first runner-up was Kalah Vance, the Distinguished Young Woman of Tullahoma.

The winner of the Spirit Award was Distinguished Young Woman of Cleveland Laura Kate Evans.

Evans also won the Talent category award.

Miller won the Interview, Fitness and Scholastic category awards.

Vance was the winner of the Self-Expression category.

Eighteen girls competed, and their scores from each category were averaged to determine who would win the Tennessee title.
