She was a longtime resident of Bradley Health Care and Rehab where she had many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Grace Tallent and William Burns: two sisters: Janette Johnson and Florine Jones; three brothers: Billy Burns, Robert Burns, and Jack Burns.
Survivors include a brother, Pledger Burns of Cleveland; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Floyd Boggess and Bro. Bobby Lowe officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
