Alleyne Leffew, 64, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Henry A. Phillips and Edith M. Holegate Phillips.
She was a dedicated and loving homemaker that enjoyed taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe F. Leffew.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons and daughters-in-law: Roscoe and Amy Leffew of Birchwood and Lucas and Rozetta Leffew of Decatur; two daughters and sons-in-law: Amanda and Claude Brackett of Cleveland and Michelle and David Harrington of Old Fort; a very special granddaughter, Katlyn Ramage; and 11 other special grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Terri Starr of Hogansville, Ga.; one brother, Micheal Phillips of Michigan; a special aunt, Marilyn Allen of Florida; and several other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at 4 p.m at Faith Memorial Church, 910 17th Street N.W., with the Rev. Eric Boston officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, from 2 until the 4 p.m. service time.
