She is survived by her children: Gary Lee, Karen Key and Jill Merrell; two granddaughters; sisters: Elizabeth (Liz) Carroll, Vondell Morgan and Mary Allen; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Benny Thomas officiating.
Interment was held today, February 3, 2013, in Green Hill Cemetery.
