She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed gardening and working outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Raymond Barrow; parents, Peter DeGroen and Myrtle Eller DeGroen; and sister, Shirley Pallatta.
She is survived by her children: Chris Barrow of Chattanooga, and Georgellen Barrow of Newton, N.J.; one grandson, Raymond Alicata of Newton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
