Anna L. Carruth, 64, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, in a local hospital.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Duracell after 26 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Willis and Mary Ruth Chambers Willis.

Survivors include her three children: David Carden, Christy Poteet and husband, Stacy, and Stacy White and wife, Brandi, all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers: Jacky Willis, Jimmy Willis, Doug Willis, and Ray Willis, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. David Disney officiating.

Interment will follow in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Fort. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
