The Cleveland Aqua Tigers proved that they truly were the better of the “Tiger” teams following their second meet against the Ringgold TigerSharks.

Coming out victorious by a few points Monday in Ringgold, Ga., the Aqua Tigers took to the pool again on Tuesday evening and got their second win over the TigerSharks, 388-361.

Jacob McDaniel scored 19 points during the meet and Regan Fuller had 18 points.

Gracelyn Jackson, Grayson Payne, and Blake Odum each had 17 points, while Lauren Thompson had 16 points in the meet.

Fourteen points were scored by Alexia Jackson, Kylee Weir, and Ben Cooper. Grayson Officer and Erin Stuzman both added 13 points to CAT’s score.

Luke Belcher, Spencer Payne, and Jasper Culpepper finished out the Aqua Tigers’ high point scoring with 10 points each.

The Aqua Tigers now have a record of 7-0, which puts them in first place in the Red Division of the Chattanooga Area Swim League.

There is one more meet remaining in the season for both the Aqua Tigers and the Mosby Park Waterdogs.

On Monday CAT will travel to Red Bank for their final meet with the Gators, while the Waterdogs will be in Calhoun to take on the Blue Barracudas.

The city meet championships will be held at the Baylor School on July 12 and 13.
