The Travena School reunion will be Aug. 6 beginning at 2 p.m. Several former Travena students gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Mary Ruth Burk) Bagley to finalize plans for the first Travena student and teacher reunion. Lebanon Baptist Church has offered its fellowship hall for the reunion.

THE MUSEUM CENTER AT FIVE POINTS will host its second exhibition of Cherokee art from the Cherokee Heritage Center in Park Hill, Okla. The exhibition, “Generations: Cherokee Language Through Art,” will be on display from July 30 through Oct. 15.
Dining with Diabetes School will begin on Aug. 9 and continue on Tuesdays, Aug. 16 and 23. It will conclude on Sept. 6 with class times from 5 to 7 p.m. each session. The USS Mount McKinley Association will hold its 23rd annual reunion in Cincinnati, Sept. 11-15.
