The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) will meet Monday in the Teen Zone at 4:30 p.m. at the library. Come check out all the activities planned for this group and input your ideas. Tweens Monthly Matinee will be showing “HOP” Saturday in the Tween Room at 11:30 a.m. This activity is open to children ages 6 through 12.

Karaoke will be held Monday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at McDonald/Black Fox Ruritan Club on McDonald School Road.

CANINE EASTER PARADE AND ADOPTION will be April 7 at Petco on Paul Huff Parkway. Dog owners are welcome to bring their costumed canine companions for an Easter Parade at 2 p.m. Entry fee is $3 per dog or $5 for two dogs in the same family. All proceeds go to PALS (Pets are a Loveable Society). Bring the kids in their Easter best to watch the parade, and stay to adopt a homeless animal. Adoption will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. As always, donations will be welcomed.

The Calico Squares, Cleveland’s only square dance club, dances in the second-floor Community Room at the Garden Plaza of Cleveland every Tuesday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and is open to the public. For more information, call Teresa at 479-7790

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is April and the Family Violence Program will be holding a “Healing Through Art” display at the Cleveland Public Library from April 15-21. In addition, the Family Violence Program will be holding a community meeting on April 19 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the library’s community meeting room.

The Children’s Library is selling Belk Charity tickets for $5 to help raise funds for the Summer Reading Program. Every ticket will get you $5 off your first purchase on April 21 from 6 to 10 a.m. All monies raised will stay in the Children’s library. Inquire at the Children’s Room desk.

THE FAMILY VIOLENCE PROGRAM will be holding a community meeting on April 19 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the library’s community meeting room. This is a great opportunity to become educated on the myths and facts surrounding this crime and proper ways to respond and help a survivor. Participants will also hear from a sexual assault survivor as she shares her experiences in the journey toward healing. Childcare will be provided that night.
