Anniversary Celebration honoring Pastor Gary Sears of Mt. Olive Church of God will be today at a combined service at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to the event, which will give recognition to Pastor Sears and his wife, Charletta, for their 20 years of service. Lee University’s Department of Business will begin its Fall CPA Review Program, a public seminar to prepare for the CPA exam, on Monday in the Walker Memorial Building. The MainStreet Cruisers present “Destination Anywhere” Cruise-In on Aug. 28 from 3 to 9 p.m. The Ascots will be featured on the event stage. More than 600 vehicles will be in a 12-block area around the Bradley County Courthouse. Free gifts will be given to the first 250 vehicles. Food vendors and event T-shirts will be available.
