Ocoee Region Beekeepers Association will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Benton Municipal Building, 6496 Highway 411, Benton. The meetings are open to anyone interested in beekeeping. The association’s purpose is to assist members and others interested in bees by providing an opportunity to discuss problems, learn the latest information, gain helpful advice and receive training for beekeeping. An organizational meeting is planned on Tuesday at 1 p.m. for patrons interested in forming an Adult Book Club at the library. Come to the Carmichael House Conference Room to plan book selections.

The Salvation Army’s Character Building Class is providing an after-school program for school children, meeting each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 437 Inman St. The class includes meaningful opportunities for learning, social activities, creative arts and spiritual growth. Lego Club is meeting on Tuesday for ages children ages 5-7 and on Thursday for ages 8-12. Building activities continue for the Lego Weekend Show in November. There is no cost to attend, and the library provides the Legos.

a behind-the-scenes tour of the library will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. This 45-minute tour begins in the lobby. No reservations are required.

The Tween Book Chatter group will meet Friday in the Children’s Activity Room at 4:30 p.m. and discuss “Beyonders: a World Without Heroes,” by Brandon Mull. This activity is for tweens age 8-12.

FOLA will host its Book and Coffee Review at the Craigmiles-Johnston House History Branch Library at 10 a.m. on Friday. Rita Cannon, FOLA board member, will review a true crime story by Diane Fanning, “Her Deadly Web.” Friends of the Library Association will provide the coffee.

Dining with Diabetes Workshop will begin on April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the UT Extension-Bradley County office at 95 Church St. S.E., Cleveland. The four-week series will continue April 14, 21 and 28. Call the UT Extension office for registration details at 728-7001

Fun and fitness exercise classes for all ages are held at First United Methodist Church, 3425 N. Ocoee St., Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1 p.m. The classes,

Join Faith & Fitness Zumba class which meets each week at The Salvation Army on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., Thursday at 6 a.m. and Thursday at noon. Each class is one hour in length.
