Bankers ‘Dream’ in pink!
BANK OF CLEVELAND EMPLOYEES were among the many who adorned their workplaces last Friday in pink attire in support of “Volley for a Cure” whose theme was “Dream Big.” The fifth annual event was held in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By joint proclamation of Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland and Bradley County D. Gary Davis, Friday was declared “Paint The Town Pink Day.” The declaration was taken to heart by many area businesses, companies and organizations. One was this group of Bank of Cleveland employees who took time for this quick pose. In the front row, from left, are Christy Griffith, Kim Campbell, Trina Norton, Linda Staton and Janice Mull. In the second row, from left, are Teresa Davis, Lisa Carroll, Lyndsey Epperson and Traci Hamilton. In the third row, from left, are Becky Kinser, Cathy Hixon, Tonya Gumm and Trisha Hall. This year’s “Volley for a Cure” event included the second annual “Flamingo Flock,” a lighthearted touch to breast cancer awareness, as well as the third annual Breast Cancer Survivors Luncheon held in the DeVos Recreation Center at Lee University. The community-popular event concluded with “Paint The Town Pink” that included a silent auction, a Pink Party, a high school volleyball exhibition and the full match between the Lee University Lady Flames and Brenau Lady Tigers.
