Barbara Jean Goins Bigham, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday morning, June 30, 2013, in a Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., health care facility.

She was the daughter of the late Ina Mae Snyder Goins and Earl O. Goins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bigham; and brothers: Ronnie Goins and Harrison Goins.

She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.

She enjoyed singing and hearing her favorite song, Amazing Grace. She was a member of the Beacon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters: Sherry Bigham Oaks and her husband, Barry, of Rossville, Ga., and Lisa Bigham Cookston and her husband, Anthony, of Chattanooga; sons: Gary Duncan and his wife, Diana, Dewayne Bigham and his wife, Sally, Steve Bigham and Ray Bigham, all of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Smith and her husband, Danny, and Ruby Rymer, all of Cleveland; her brother, Randall Goins and his wife, Gwen, of Cleveland; sisters-in-law, Carollyn and Mildred Goins; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life service and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, from the Wildwood Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating.

Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening, July 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
