Douglas and Anne Baynes of Cleveland announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Sarah to Ben Smith, the son of Lebron Smith of Cleveland and the late Vickie Smith.

The couple will be married in an 11 a.m. ceremony in Cancun, Mexico.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mena Baynes of Cleveland. She is the sister of Stephen Baynes of Cleveland.

Miss Baynes is a graduate of Walker Valley High School and Chattanooga State Technical Community College and is employed by Tennessee Valley Bone and Joint.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Pat and Albert Wood of Johnson City.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of Bradley Central High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is employed as a teacher and wrestling coach at Bradley Central High School.
