Billy Mack Cochran, 82, of Cleveland, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Hospice Care of Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Nelson and Leela Masengale Cochran; sisters: Mary Dillard, Mildred Matthew, Wilma McSpadden, Doris Pope; and brothers: Harold, Dleano and J.C. Cochran.
He was a dedicated and faithful Christian and loved his church, North Cleveland Baptist, for 51 years. He served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a partner in Cleveland Roofing and Air Conditioning Co., until his retirment in 1998.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sandra Mathews Cochran; sons and spouses: William and Deneas Cochran of Knoxville, and Mark Cochran of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law: Laura and John Mark Moore of Cleveland; sisters: Thelma Benton of Paducah, Ky, Lillie Sweet of Crossville, and Shirley Norman of Clarkrange; brother, Paul Cochran of Dayton; grandchildren and spouses: Jeremiah and Whitney Smith, Jennifer and David Matikke, Marcus and Tracy Cochran, Cory Cochran, Wil, Jake, Matthew and Lee Young, along with his delight and pride, five beautiful great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the North Cleveland Baptist.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, and on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.
Dr. Jay McCluskey and Dr. Danny Ruehling are to officiate.
Interment will be Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in the Smith-Wilkey Cemetery in Spring City.
