Bobby Henson, 70, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in a local hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sadie Farmer Henson and Will Henson.

He served in the 4th U.S. Army 2nd Battalion, 30th Artillery.

He was retired from John Kiker Construction Co. and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his brother, Carl Henson of Easley, S.C.; special friends: Anna and Vern Dagenais of Cleveland and Bonnie Thrift of Bridgeport, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

The Remembrance of Life memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, from the North Ocoee Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes with the Rev. Charles Campbell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Fort Hill Veterans Section.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
