Bowling balls are among items missing from car

Bowling equipment was among items taken during a car burglary at a northeast Bradley County location.

According to a report filed with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office, Aaron White said someone broke into his vehicle sometime during the weekend and took three bowling balls, an equipment bag, bowling trophy and a set of jumper cables.

A neighbor provided a possible vehicle description of the offenders, according to the report filed by deputy Robert O’Daniel.

The witness described a black Geo Tracker had been in the victim’s driveway.

According to the report, the missing items were valued at $890.

The theft was reported Monday.

n Virginia Johnson told deputy O’Daniel she had been out of town for approximately a month and returned home Sunday with a number of items missing.

According to his report, a Durabrand under-cabinet radio, a bottle of wine and a Crosman air rifle were missing from her Chestuee Road residence.

Criminal Investigations Division detectives responded to the scene to collect evidence and begin an investigation.

The missing items were valued at $274.

n Nothing was missing from an Old Wagon Road residence but vandalism was evident, according to a report filed by deputy Robert Jones of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, Jones responded to the Eustace Perkins residence where he observed several windows and doors had been damaged.

According to his report, it didn’t appear as if anyone had gained entry to the home.

Damage to a front door, back door, and windows was estimated at $950.
