Kaye Smith, UT Extension agent, says to bring a friend and “join us for a fun-filled time where you will make something to wear, something to eat and something to decorate your home with.” The event, which will be held at the UT Extension-Bradley County Building at 95 Church St. S.E., is sponsored by the Bradley County FCE Clubs.
There will also be a “Mystery Craft” where you will learn how to recycle — or re-purpose — something old into something cute and useful.
Workshop craft topics include Chocolate in a Jar (bring a clean quart jar with canning lid and ring); Earrings; and Trivets.
The luncheon will feature a variety of delicious home-cooked soups and desserts with recipes. If you attended last year, you now are in for another treat this year, according to Smith.
Reservations are a must. Cost of the event is $12 per person and is limited to the first 75 people. Checks should be made out to Bradley County FCE and mailed to Jean Cross, 5717 Cherry St., Ooltewah TN 37363.
