He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and was born on Aug. 5, 1948.
He worked for many years at Cooke Manufacturing Co.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Bivens.
Survivors include his mother, Hannah Carlee Bivens of Cleveland; brothers: Guy Bivens of Cleveland and Joe Bivens of Big Bear, Calif.; aunt, Shirley Kerr of Layton, Utah; and several other extended family members and friends.
There will be no public visitation of service at this time, per his request.
