CCS drops VB tri-match

The Cleveland Christian School Lady Crusaders traveled to Maryville for the last tri-match of the volleyball season Tuesday night.

In the early match, the Lady Crusaders dropped two straight to Maryville, 25-13 and 25-14. In the second match, the Lady Crusaders showed a bit more energy but eventually lost 25-10 and 25-18.

On the evening, Acacia Thompson led the Crusaders with three kills, three digs, a block and an ace. Hope Nix had six assists and a kill. Jennifer Corbitt had two kills and two digs. Shelby Hartmann had three digs. Faith Nix had two digs. Emily Sexton had a block and a kill.

The Lady Crusaders will compete in the season ending SCAA tournament in Collegedale Monday at 4:30 p.m.
