Their short film, ‘Soulmates’ was shown during the festival. Teams have only 24 hours to write, film, and edit a short film.
The Cleveland members of the team are director Ben Murphy, actor Ben Taylor, writer/actor Jonathan Swindle, and crew member Kent Connell. All graduated from Cleveland high in the class of 2011. Taylor also received one of three Best Actor Nominations.
Their production company is called Jetpack Lab Productions. Murphy is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee and is majoring in visual media/communications. Swindle is a sophomore at Lee University majoring in theatre. Taylor is a sophomore at Lee University. Connell is a sophomore at University of Tennessee majoring in biology.
Other team members were Chattanooga native Brock Ward, and Connecticut native Isabel Tipton.
