The Church of God will host its 109th Annual General Assembly, with the theme, “Thy Will Be Done,” at the Lowery Ministries Center located at 340 Paul Huff Parkway.
Pre-assembly will begin Tuesday evening, Aug. 26, at 6:30, and will be moderated by local Pastor Cary Ryan.
Bishop Alexander Jackson, general overseer of The Church of God, will moderate the 109th Assembly, beginning Wednesday morning at 8:30.
Praying for the assembly will be directed by Charles Slack.
There will be preaching, singing and praying throughout the day, and reporting from the National and Regional Overseers.
Word Language Program will begin Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm. Coordinator Jose’ L. Castellanos will be bringing the evening message.
Thursday morning worship in song, directed by the Bonilla family, followed by state and countries reports, as well as reports by the Ways and Means Committee.
Evening programs begins at 6:30 p.m. Public program will be directed by H.L. and Sue Cannon, followed by recognition of those who have been members for 30 plus years.
The evangelism program will be directed by Morris C. Jackson; the General Evangelism coordinator will be bringing the evening message.
Friday morning a Kenosha Wis., church begins the morning service with prayer and singing. Assistant editor of the Church paper “Arise Shine,” James O’Quinn will boost the paper.
The General Overseer’s Annual Address will begin at 10 a.m. Bishop Jackson will bless each of us with his instructions. Friday afternoon music from California delegate J.N. Bonilla will report on the church website.
Donald Brown, Church of Prophecy marker association general coordinator, will report on the work of the CPMA. The afternoon message Willing and Obedient will be presented by Esteban Rivas. The Friday evening World Mission program will be directed by General Coordinator Cary Ryan. Parade of Nation will be directed by Diane Nabors. Healing the Nation message by Cary Ryan.
Saturday morning will feature music and prayer with Assembly Band Movement program directed by General Coordinator Shilia Hale. Annual Praise Service by Edan Wamsley. Saturday afternoon Nampa Id music, prayer, to begin service. Worship song by Wanda Brown titled “Is She a Skeleton or a Body?” by Marshall.

Report of Business committees, appointment of General Workers, Regional and Nation’s overseer’s and other appointments.
These events will be followed by prayer for all appointments by Ralph L. Lester. The Closing of Assembly will be presented by General Overseer Alexander Jackson.
