Beginning Spanish is an eight-week class starting Oct. 10 and continuing through Dec. 5. The class will meet on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m., and the fee is $80.
You can get a jump on the holidays by learning how to make beautiful wreaths and holiday floral arrangements for your home with the Holiday Floral Design Class offered Oct. 17 (Holiday Wreaths) and Oct. 24 (Holiday Floral Arrangements).
Both classes will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. and the fee is $50.
Holiday Cookie Decorating will be offered at two different levels. There will be a beginner’s class on Monday, Nov. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. that will focus on basic decorating techniques, and an intermediate class on Monday, Nov. 11, where students can learn more detailed and intricate designs, also from 6 to 8 p.m. The class fee for each class is $60. Cookies will be provided for both classes.
Tammy Jensen, owner of Sifted Bakery and instructor of the Cookie Decorating Classes, said, “I love working on creating art and food in one place. I truly love what I do, and look forward to sharing with others.”
CSCC will also be offering a divorce workshop on Parents, Children and Divorce. These classes fulfill the requirements of Tennessee's Education Seminar Law for divorcing parents.
The cost is $35 per person and preregistration is required.
