Cleveland State Community College and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are co-sponsoring an event for Get Covered America and the Affordable Care Act on Wednesday, March 26, in Rooms 104 and 108 of the Career Education Building on the CSCC campus.

This event is for those who would like assistance with enrollment or still have questions about the Affordable Care Act.

“Cleveland State is working with the White House office of public engagement along with several local organizations to provide this service to our campus and community,” stated Tracey Wright, director of special programs and community events.

“It is our hope that those who do not have health insurance coverage will take advantage of the opportunity to come and learn about their options from professionally trained individuals. Those who desire can register during the event for the plan that fits their needs and budget. With the national deadline for registrations being March 31, we hope this local event will meet the needs of our community.”

If you are planning to enroll, it is important to bring information including address, phone number, birth date, Social Security number, employer and income of each member of the household. The process will take up to an hour to complete, and an email address is required in order to enroll.
