Larry and Debbie Calahan of Crossville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Dr. Jason Eskew, the son of Larry and Nancy Eskew of Cleveland.

The couple will wed in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony on June 8 at Homestead Baptist Church in Crossville, where the bride-elect is a member.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Everette Calahan, the late Mary Helen Calahan, Jean Inman of Crossville and the late Clarence Inman. She is the sister of Scott Calahan of Crossville and Ben Calahan of Hazel Green, Ala.

Miss Calahan is a graduate of Cumberland County High School and Tennessee Technology Center. She is employed by Plateau Pediatrics.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Odean Eskew of Huntingdon and the late Martin Eskew, and Jack and Lorraine Drake of Rockdale, Texas. He is the brother of David Eskew of Cleveland and Allison Eskew of Austin, Texas.

Mr. Eskew if a graduate of Cleveland High School and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine at Lincoln Memorial University and will have residency practice at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.

He is a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cleveland.
