Beverly Mason of Athens became the bride of Charlie Campbell of Benton in an afternoon ceremony May 21, 2011, at Camp Agapé.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Loretta Mason of Athens. She is the granddaughter of Walter and Allagene Mason of Bozeman, Mont., and the late Ruby and Earl Lee Millsaps.

The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Elaine Campbell of Benton and Pam Guthrie of Key Largo, Fla. He is the grandson of Becky Campbell of Benton and the late Charlie Campbell and Johnnie Bob and Tommy Guthrie of Benton.

The Rev. Don Whitehead, pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Benton, performed the ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Lynne Herron, vocalist, and Bill Ellis, guitarist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Christie Brinkley of Etowah as maid of honor. Her sister, Tamara Smith of Athens, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Meg Wade of Athens and her cousin, Deedee Billue of Aiken, S.C. Junior bridesmaids were Gabby Poston and Kennedy Coleman.

The bridegroom’s father served him as best man. Groomsmen were Jimmy Hawkins of Benton, Michael Lawson of Athens and Andrew Miller of Etowah.

Addie Smith and Bree Billue were flower girls. Kinsgston Coleman, Lucas Mason and Liam Mason were ring bearers.

The reception was given by Joann Whitehead at Ocoee Riverside Lodge. Joy Mason kept the bride’s book.

After a wedding trip to Asheville, N.C., the newlywed couple is at home in Benton.
