Campus Briefs: Local student earns master’s degree from Milligan College

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (Jan. 8, 2013) — Local student Kristen Thomas recently graduated from Milligan College.

Thomas, also a graduate of Cleveland High School, earned a master of science in occupational therapy degree.

Located in Northeast Tennessee, Milligan is a nationally recognized Christian liberal arts college whose vision is to change lives and shape culture through a commitment to servant leadership. The college offers 30 undergraduate majors and four master’s degrees.

McCallie School opens choir to area talent for spring show

McCallie School in Chattanooga is opening up the McCallie Choral Union to experienced singers. Dr. Lew Cisto, Director of Music at McCallie School, is inviting all interested, experienced singers in the Chattanooga area to participate in the school’s perfomance of “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by T. Dubois. The performance will be March 17 at 6 p.m.

Rehearsals begin Monday at 6:29 p.m. at the McCallie Chapel. Rehearsals will be every Monday from 6:29 untill 8 p.m. Music scores will be provided by The McCallie School.

Accompaniment will be performed by Dr. Robert Miller.
