Charlcia Diane Browning, 67, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, in a Chattanooga hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Ellen Hurst. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hurst Jr.; and a sister, Joyce Cofer.
She was retired from Bishop Baking with more than 15 years of service. She was a member Fairview Worship Church in Cleveland.
Survivors include her daughter, Kesha Webb and her husband, Larry, of Old Fort; two sons: Timothy Shillings of Harriman and Kenny Hughes and his wife, Amanda, of Duff, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister, Frances Wilmeth of Rockwood; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today, July 24, 2014, at Fairview Worship with Pastor Jackie Epperson and Assistant Pastor Larry Webb officiating.
The family request that donations be made in Mrs. Browning’s honor to the Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga Area Inc., P.O. Box 28105 Chattanooga TN., 37424.
The family would also encourage everyone to consider being an organ donor to help save a life.
