He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jo Davis, of Philadelphia; daughters: Cynthia Denise Steckbauer of Kennesaw, Ga., and Christina Jo Maddox of Canton, Ga.; six grandchildren; sister, Norma Jean McDowell of Bonaire, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with minister Tom Harrison officiating.
Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
