Charles R. Lusk, 74, of Cleveland, passed away, Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was in the transportation business until 1994. He loved to dance and be active, and to laugh and cut up. He enjoyed listening to music and loved watching his granddaughter dance. He served in the United States Coast Guard and was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. Lusk Sr. and Frankie Reed Lusk and brother, the Rev. Larry L. Lusk.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley O. Lusk, of Cleveland; daughter, Samantha L. Harris and husband, Chuck, of Cleveland; granddaughter, Whitley Harris of Cleveland; sister, Joyce Lusk Roddy of Williamson, W.Va.; and a host of special nieces, nephews and special friends.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, May 10, 2013, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to North Cleveland Baptist Church, “Grace to the Finish” Building Fund, 2815 N. Ocoee St., Cleveland TN 37312.
