Aaron Chastain, a resident of Cleveland, was awarded the Berry Academic and Dean’s scholarships at Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga.

Berry, located near Rome, is a private four-year college set on the largest college campus by area in the world.

Berry awards scholarships in recognition of superior academic achievement. The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded for a 3.75 GPA or higher and the Berry Academic Scholarship is awarded based on an ACT composite score of 29 or higher.

Chastain is a 2011 graduate of Cleveland High School. He is a finance major in the Berry College Campbell School of Business.

He is the son of Katie Chastain of Valdosta, Ga., and Terry Chastain of Cleveland. He is the brother of Laura Chastain Dye and her husband, Patrick, of McDonald. He is the grandson of Harvey and Charlene Chastain of Charleston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Suits.
