Barbara Wolf has joined Check Into Cash as the company’s first chief marketing officer.
Wolf previously served as vice president of marketing and product development for Chicago-based PLS Financial Services Inc.
Check Into Cash is one of America’s largest consumer financial services retailers, offering an array of short-term lending options, as well as check cashing and other services, at its more than 1,000 locations.
Wolf had developed and implemented PLS’s marketing and communication strategy since 2006. She oversaw $15 million in annual advertising and promotional support for the company’s more than 350 retail locations.
Prior to her tenure at PLS, Wolf held marketing leadership roles at Schering-Plough and Alliant Food Service. Wolf earned a master’s degree in marketing from DePaul University.

Founded in Cleveland by W. Allan Jones in 1993, Check Into Cash has since grown to include locations in 30 states.
