Ally Morgan Bacon and Hugh James Cheek, both of Augusta, Ga., exchanged wedding vows in an evening ceremony on April 2, 2011, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Huston Bacon Jr. of Cleveland. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Abe Elster of Memphis, the late Mr. Elster, Mrs. Paul Huston Bacon Sr. of Cleveland and the late Mr. Bacon.

The bridegroom is the son of Drs. Benjamin Hugh and Kathryn Kilpatrick Cheek of Columbus, Ga. He is the grandson of Mrs. James Hopton Kilpatrick of Pisgah Forest, N.C., the late Mr. Kilpatrick, Mrs. Hugh Giles Cheek of Columbus, and the late Mr. Cheek.

The wedding was officiated by Jeffrey David Norris. Nuptial music was presented by organist Bruce Clark and vocalists Harrison and Lulie Wallace. Scripture was read by John Challoner Tuck.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. Her sister, Lauren Bacon Tuck of Nashville, attended as her matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Hanna Brown of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Holly Anne Cheek and Melanie Watts Colley, both of Atlanta, Ga., Laura Wilkerson Farmer of Augusta, Melissa Claire Hoffer of Cleveland, Meghan Putnam Hollingsworth of Dalton, Ga., Jennifer Scarbrough Marsh of Atlanta, Cassie Elizabeth Mitchell of Athens, Ga., Sarah Jane Park of Nashville, Kirsten McVay Roberts of Memphis and Jinna Anne Tucker of Birmingham, Ala.

Best man to the bridegroom was his father, Dr. Cheek. Groomsmen were Arthur James Cheek of Oxford, Miss., John Sebastian Ball and David Lawrence Mize, both of Atlanta; Andrew Cosby Cartledge II and Robert Neville Gunby, both of Columbus; Robert Hunter Edwards Jr., Peter John Hanna, Charles Stephens Scarborough Jr. and Blake Krefton Willis, all of Augusta, Ga.; Justin Saxon Hollingsworth of Dalton; and Edward Lanier Mills of Athens, Ga.,

The wedding reception was given by the parents of the bride at the Hunter Museum of Art in Chattanooga. Reception music was provided by The Anita Band of Atlanta.

After a wedding trip to Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Augusta.
