With cheerleader tryouts at all the various schools in Bradley County, MAD is offering free clinics so that girls or boys who don’t have the chance to take cheer or tumbling classes can have the chance to learn some basics of cheerleading and tumbling before trying out.
David Pendergrass has taught at various gyms and taught summer gymnastic programs all over the Southeast. He will be doing the tumbling portion as his wife, Heather Pendergrass, former competitive cheerleader and competitive cheer coach, teaches the cheer classes. Both are staff members at MAD.
Parents must sign a liability waiver for a child to be able to participate in clinics prior to clinic starting.
Classes will be as follows:
Ages 6-8 – Cheer from 10 to 11 a.m.
Ages 9-10 – Tumbling, 10 to 11 a.m.
