Peter Toth, artist and sculptor, worked through the evening Thursday restoring and refurbishing the Cherokee Chieftain sculpture, located in front of the Museum Center at Five Points. The museum has scheduled a reception at 2 p.m. Sunday for the Florida-based artist, who created the Cleveland landmark in 1974. He plans a slide show and will give a brief talk. Toth has created 74 American Indian statues, at least one in every state in the union. The above photo was submitted by Russell Simms.
