Cherokee Removal Memorial Park receives bible donation

A New Testament Bible written in the Cherokee syllbary was recently donated to the Cherokee Removal Memorial Park in Meigs County. Charlie Faircloth’s wife gave the Bible in memory of her husband, a well known Chattanooga musician. Presenting the Bible is Cleata Townsend, a family friend, to Nancy Williams, an employee of the Park. A Cherokee dictionary was also donated.
