Two special services will be held at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 7223 Georgetown Road N.W. The Eve of the Eve Candlelighting service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. and New Year’s Eve Communion Service will be held Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the New Year’s Eve service.

Mountain View Church of God, 210 Roadway Drive S.E., will present its Christmas musical, “Silent Night! Holy Night,” Sunday with children singing and youth drama included. The service begins with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 10:45 a.m.
