WEIRD Vacation Bible School, where Jesus’ Love Is One-of-a-Kind, will be June 3-6, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at The Salvation Army, 437 Inman St. WEIRD will teach kids ages 5-12 how God filled the world with a lot of crazy creatures ... including them. WEIRD will remind kids that when they feel weird, different, or even lost in a crowd — nothing compares to the extraordinary love of Jesus. Register kids by calling 423-308-3467. Yummy snacks will be provided.

Cody McCarver, former lead singer for Confederate Railroad, will be at Graceway Chapel, 221 14th St. N.E., Sunday at 11 a.m. Dinner will be served following the service.

Homecoming will be held at Cookson Creek Baptist Church, Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Due to construction to the sanctuary, the service will be in the fellowship hall. Lunch will be under the pavillion. Remember to bring a lawn chair. The homecoming love offering will be set aside for the cemetery upkeep. You can mail the love offering to Cookson Creek Baptist Church, 1686 Sand Mountain Road, Ocoee TN 37361.
