The Electrical Maintenance Certificate will be a true cohort program for the spring semester. Classes will be taught on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Advance benefits include a fast-paced environment, classes one day a week, personalized one-on-one time with the instructor and working with the same group of people throughout the program.
“This electrical maintenance certificate is being offered on Saturday mornings on the Cleveland and Athens campuses to better accommodate the schedules of working adults and can be completed in seven months,” stated Cele Curtis, Career and Technical Education cohort specialist. “The certificate will provide the technical foundational information to prepare students to work in electrical jobs. These courses can be combined with additional classes to support a variety of industry needs.”
Curtis went on to state, “This is the first stage in our Advance accelerated programs to be offered at Cleveland State Community College. This is very exciting for us at the college. The accelerated cohort programs represent such a great opportunity for adults to attend classes and receive the education and training they need to improve their skills, or to gain entry into an area of professional interest.”
