The award-winning puppet ministry, signers and Clingan Ridge Youth Band will be performing along with special music by The Neeley Family.
The Clingan Ridge puppeteers and signers ministry has more than 15 years of experience. Members have performed at many area churches and community block parties, and multiple times in New York City and Honduras, to name a few places they have been.
Through puppetry and song, these talented youth share God’s story. Under the direction of Tracy Beaty, the puppets use black light and elaborate props to present a creative, fun and exciting program.
Silent Voices, under the direction of Jamie Beaty, uses sign language to lead the audience in personal worship.
According to Beaty, “It is a unique way to express praise and gives others an opportunity to hear and see what we believe.”
The Clingan Ridge Youth Band will also perform. Members include Jonathon Dockery, Keshana Fox, Noah Dockery, Isaac Beaty and Ashlyn Terry. The youth band will perform several songs along with Silent Voices.
The Neely Family, a well-known local Southern gospel group, will also be featured.
According to Relay Team Captain Karen Lamon, Gamble Road Baptist Church will join with Clingan Ridge for this exciting program. Other churches and youth groups are also invited to attend.
There is no admission charge but an offering to benefit the American Cancer Society will be accepted.
The church is located at 2412 Georgetown Road.
