Bublitz of Cleveland makes Mercer University president's list

MACON, GA — Joshua Bublitz, of Cleveland, a sophomore, was named to the president's list and dean's list of Mercer University's School of Engineering for the fall 2012 semester. Inclusion on this list requires students to meet rigorous GPA standards for the School of Engineering.

The University enrolls more than 8,300 students in 11 schools and colleges — liberal arts, law, pharmacy, medicine, business, engineering, education, theology, music, nursing and continuing and professional studies — on campuses in Macon, Atlanta and Savannah — and four regional academic centers across the state. It operates an academic press and a performing arts center in Macon and an engineering research center in Warner Robins. Mercer is the only private university in Georgia to field an NCAA Division I athletic program.

Kileigh Barringer of Ocoee

named to dean’s list.

Kileigh Barringer of Ocoee has been named to the dean’s list at Vanderbilt University College of Arts and Sciences for the fall 2012 semester.

The dean’s list requires students to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher while carrying 12 or more graded credit hours.

Ervin of Cleveland makes the dean's list at Mercer University

MACON, GA — Haley Ervin of Cleveland, a first-year student, was named to the dean's list of Mercer University's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for the fall 2012 semester. Inclusion on this list requires students to meet rigorous GPA standards for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The Mercer Health Sciences Center launched July 1, 2012, and includes the University's medical, nursing and pharmacy schools and will add a fourth college — the College of Health Professions — on July 1, 2013. Mercer is affiliated with four teaching hospitals in Georgia — Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, and The Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.

The University also has educational partnerships with Warner Robins Air Logistics Center in Warner Robins and Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta. It operates an academic press and a performing arts center in Macon and an engineering research center in Warner Robins.
